The family of the ‘innocent’ 28-year-old trader who was unexpectedly killed by some unknown police officers has finally taken the opportunity to break the silence over the heartbreaking incident.

Speaking in a recent interview on JoyNews, the spokesperson for the bereaved family, Dr. Matthias Sarkodie revealed that, the deceased, Kwesi Albert was not an armed robber but the police officers agreed otherwise even after searching his [Kwesi] room and found no tangible evidence hence leading the unfortunate news.

“When we went to the regional commander per the statement commander in Nkoranza sent to him according to them, Kwesi was involved in an armed robbery attack. From the armed robbery scene, they came to the house and identified the very items they picked at the armed robbery scene that they were in Akwasi’s room. They mentioned some gadgets though I can’t tell according to the source, it’s a machine they used to set up multi TV; that was the machine they found over there. But, they told us he had a gadget that they have been using to decode people’s fonts. We have taken the matter to the Accra High Court for us to get justice for Albert. We have also written to the IGP”, Dr. Matthias Sarkodie emphatically revealed.

May his soul rest in perfect peace and all condolences go to the entire family and friends ones.
