Chairman Wontumi: The Calling Of God Is Upon Me

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known as Chairman Wontumi has said he has been ordained a Minister of God.

In an interview on the Delay Show, he said he attended the Bethel Bible School in Chicago.

He disclosed he began a Ministry after a six months course at the bible school.

He also revealed that “before I left Ghana, I had 12 fellowships… I had twelve towns where I ministered”.

According to him, he later took on different jobs in the United Kingdom as a Cleaner, Gym instructor, bouncer, and then a bodyguard.

He noted that not long after becoming a bodyguard, he left for Ghana due to marital challenges to settle in Tema with a female friend.

Upon his return, he said he began a noodle business which collapsed due to bureaucracies in importation at the time.

This forced him into becoming a security guard in one of the companies he supplied the noodles to and later set up a private security agency.

Subsequently, he ventured into mining by taking a job as a casual worker but left the job later, he said.

“I got an opportunity. Someone led me to a land where I began my own mining and that has made me what I am today.”
