RIP: Tears flow as six school children killed by a speeding car laid to rest (photos)

The six school children killed by a speeding vehicle on May 11, 2022 have been laid to rest at Ankaase in the Krachi West District of the Oti Region. The pupils were on their way home from school when they were hit by the speeding car in the Krachi West District.

The funeral service was attended by family members, friends, and fellow students of the victims who gathered at Ankaase for prayers. Mourners were left with great grief. Many were crying as the six children were buried side by side.

The driver of the saloon car, who was said to be speeding, lost control of his vehicle before it hit the students, has since been arrested by police for causing death by dangerous driving and remanded in police custody pending further investigations. 

The seven children hit by a car, six have been laid to rest, and the only survivor is in a very critical condition in the hospital. May the souls of these children rest in peace. Please write “Rest in Peace” for these children.
