Afrobeat/Afropop Ghanaian musician, Gregory Bortey Newman, affectionately known as King Promise has revealed the amount of money he spends on shooting quality music videos in Ghana.

He told Berla Mundi on TV3’s Dew Day segment that the music video for his song, “Slow Down” was shot at the National Theatre despite the deteriorating condition of the theatre in recent times.
The singer revealed that he spent quite an amount of money shooting the music video at the theatre and with how he portrayed the music video, he is certain that some Ghanaian and African artistes would also have interest in having their music video shot at the theatre.
King Promise revealed that he spends about $15,000 to $20,000 on average just to shoot a quality video in Ghana.

In other news, Ghanaian musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena, widely known as Kidi says he would have been a sportsman, specifically an athlete if music never swooped into his life.
Speaking in an interview with Citi FM with AJ Sarpong, Kidi while answering a question posed by a fan during the interview stated that he would have been an athlete if music was not working out as he expected.
He revealed he used to represent his school back in the days and he was a one-man army on the account that he used to put fear in his competitors whenever he gets to the field given the records he has made for himself in the past.
Kidi claims to have claimed the championship throughout his years in high school but at a point in time, he needed to make a choice by picking between being an athlete and a musician and he chose music because music was the best for him.
