Black Stars Predicted Line Up Emerge, Afena Gyan Sits On Bench, Dede Ayew And Jordan Ayew Missing

A Black Stars probable line up has emerged with the sons of Abedi Pele missing in action. The projected line up has players who are in a pole position to start in upcoming games as well as their competitors, that is, those they compete against in all positions. Whiles Black Stars captain Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew are nowhere to be found, Thomas Partey and some old faces were included in a team that appears to be competitive and ferocious in attack. This team may have the capacity to compete at the highest stage such as World Cup.

Goalkeepers Richard Ofori and Joseph Wollacot have made it into the list but the latter had the upper hand over his competitor. This implies that Black Stars will be good to have Joseph Wollacot in goal post should a game be played or during World Cup. Joseph Wollacot has been the favorite goalkeeper in recent games for Black Stars, keeping the post for team in Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon earlier this year. Despite the team’s dreadful display in the continental showpiece, Joseph Wollacot had the opportunity to taste action in a World Cup playoff against the Super Green Eagles of Nigeria. The Swindon Town goalkeeper made daring saves for Black Stars in both legs, coming out as fans favorite. Richard Ofori proves to be ready to take over the number spot.

Three defenders have been lined up, comprising of Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku and Mohammed Salisu. This presents a three back system for the team, with Amartey and Djiku establishing a strong partnership in recent matches. The addition of Mohammed Salisu makes the back line impregnable, as anticipating.

The midfield is made up of four players, with Jeffrey Schlupp and Tarique Lamptey playing as wing backs. Deputy skipper Thomas Partey and Mohammed Kudus are in charge of central duties. Between Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey, one will move as defensive midfielder and the other an attacking opponent or central midfielder. Kofi Kyereh, Elisha Owusu, Gideon Mensah and Dennis Odoi are on standby to take over should any of them be ruled out.

The attacking part encompasses Inaki Williams, Nketiah and Hudson Odoi. Inaki Williams and Hudson Odoi will go into games as wingers whiles Arsenal forward Nketiah comes in middle as the arrow head. This presents a stiff contest to Kamaldeen Sulemana, Afena Gyan and Abdul Fatawu Isssahaku. They may have to rest on the bench and join if the opportunity comes.
