I Want The Movie Industry To Enjoy Same Grace As Industry

Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has shared the greatest thing that she’s expecting to happen to the movie industry that will make her happy.

Speaking to Joy Primes’ Ibrahim Ben-Bako, Lydia said she is optimistic about the rise of the Ghana movie industry just like the music industry has risen o the global front.

“I was just reminiscing and thinking how far the Ghana music has come, and I was literally like I ‘you know what, I want the same for Ghanaian movie’. It’s been a great year so far for Ghanaian music,” Lydia Forson said.

“This is how powerful we are when we come together and believe in ourselves,” she added.

The actress went on to mention the names of some Ghanaian musicians who have had a global trend in the year.

“We have Black Sherif trending; we have Cammidoh trending; we have Kelvin Boy and so many other Ghanaian artistes that have trended on the global front, not forgetting the women Cina Soul, Adina, and Sefa; they are all doing amazing,” she noted.
