According to a ruling authenticated by a High Court Judge Douglas Seidu, the entire polling station election, electoral area coordinators election and the purported Constituency election is totally nullified.
REASON FOR THE ACTION
Some aggrieved NPP members went to the court to place an injunction on the entire NPP election in the Sunyani East constituency. While the case was pending, those who sought to be in office at all cost compiled an album and organised an election contrary to the court’s orders.
It was noted that, even a venue to hold the fake constituency election was a problem. This is because every facility was afraid of the court injunction. Organisers first wrote to the Sunyani Technical University to use their auditorium but they reportedly said no. They further contacted other outlets that still Sacked them.
Bent on holding an illegal election to vote and keep their cronies at the Regional level in office, they all moved to a filling station allegedly belonging to the incumbent NPP MP to Organise their election.
Yes, a filling station. After singing, dancing, eating and sharing envelopes, they paraded some media Houses to cover stories that they have organised the Sunyani East Constituency elections.
Today, the Sunyani High Court says that every action relating to that election or submission of a list to the NPP National Headquarters is fake. The injunction on the election still holds. All the NPP Executives at their National Headquarters are thereby ordered not to recognise anybody from Sunyani East as an executive. Their names is supposed to be deleted from their database as well.
