Each year, many service men and women die during training missions. With very few exceptions, the men and women who serve their country, whether in peace time or war, make sacrifices family separations, often isolated tours of duty, long and difficult hours with no extra pay, etc.
They serve you and me through their efforts, often in dangerous circumstances. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45). Please respect our soldiers and stop disrespecting them and making jokes of them. If only you know the sacrifices they make to protect us.
I am thankful to the soldiers for fighting to keep us safe so that we can live a peaceful life. But I feel sad for them, they risk their lives to protect our lives. Imagine what’s happening in Ukraine today, many soldiers fighting for safety of their citizens has been killed. Without soldiers our country can be invaded and taken from us. Imagine without their soldiers Russia would have taken Ukraine by now.
I was moved to tears by the bravery of our troops, who risked their lives to keep us safe even in the face of adversity. God bless our troops, imagine without our gallant soldiers they fought and liberated is from Britain forces. God bless and protect our troops.
