The African Cup of Nations 2023 qualifiers match between Ghana and Madagascar might be postponed. This is because the Madagascar Football Federation has requested for Change of date for their matches against Ghana and Angola next month.
We can understand that the Madagascar Football Federation has asked for an adjustment of the dates of their first two AFCON qualification matches of the Group B. officially the dates for the matches between Ghana and Angola is scheduled for 1st June 2022 and 5th June 2022. Both matches would be played at home and away respectively.
Madagascar and Ghana’s match is supposed to take place on 3rd June and 8th June. The idea of postponing these matches has been put forward by is awaiting a response from CAF. FIFA has already given the date for international matches to be from 1st June to 14th June which is a two week time period. And Madagascar is suggesting the matches should be pushed forward a bit during the time frame.
