EPL: A Look at the Relegation Phase After Everton’s Big Win, and Leeds United Defeat

A great week once again in the English Premier League however, not every club as few are on the relegation radar, others securing furthest from it.

Norwich City the first from the bottom in the league table were the first side to be officially relegated to the Premier League lower division (Championship) after three successive losses in a row. And this week another recorded loss to West Ham United by 4-0 at home.

Seconding the Canaries, Watford were made official on Saturday after a narrow margin loss to Crystal Palace. Second Norwich City a year ago in the Championship for the Premier League, the Hornets are once again seconding them to the Championship to make progress from there.

The third team on the deck who are on the verge of being relegated is Leeds United leapfrogged by Everton today. The Peacock’s loss to Arsenal (2-1) made them vulnerable to relegation to the 18th position, a step back previously after Everton’s surprising victory against Leicester City by the same scoreline today.

As it stands Frank Lampard Everton are two points above relegation to be precise after recording their first streak in a row (W2) since the start of this season and four outstanding games to be played by the Toffees.
