Communication minister, Honorable Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah has been asked to step down from his position as the minister in charge of communication for signing a communique to attack the rating from Jornalist without borders on press freedom.
Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah was noted as a fine and exemplary embodiment who’s excellence in delivering factual information on a matter has been questioned after signing on as the minister for information in the Nana-Addo administration.
Fix-the-country convenor Oliver Baker-Vormawor using his Facebook page questioned the genuineness of the minister on this matter and openly asked him to eat a humble pie in accepting what’s just true. Oliver Baker then asked Kojo Oppong Nkrumah to resign with immediate effect.
Here’s the statement from Oliver Baker Vormawor: If Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah was a person of conscience, he would resign from this Government.
Character is formed by tough decisions; not by being an apologist for government oppression.
That statement he has signed attacking the Press Freedom rating shows he is very much in on the mess. The perks must be too good to give up.
He has become the very politician, he won the nation’s heart by criticizing on the radio every day and that’s just shameful.
