Hearts of Oak midfield maestro Salifu Ibrahim has resumed training with the Phobians after a long injury layoff. He has been a pillar in midfield for the rainbow club. He is their creative spark and his services have been sorely missed. His absence coupled with the profligacy of the team has denied Hearts of Oak the needed goals to mount a serious title defence. They have been poor in their title defence. We saw some flashes of brilliance but their inconsistency has caused them a lot.
Salifu’s recovery will be welcoming news to Coach Samuel Boadu. This will help them to finish the season on a very strong note. They will be going to Bechem to face the Hunters in their next league encounter. They have had favourable results there in the past and will be hoping they will get a good result to mount a strong finish to the season.
Salifu Ibrahim despite missing several games in the Ghana Premier League this season remains the player with the most assists in the division, eight in all.
