God may not bless you with money. If you are detected performing these things.

Many people, Solomon, have disobeyed God after being blessed with wealth and prosperity. I’m sure God will bless you as well, but don’t repeat the three points I’m about to make.

Before we get started, I’d like to remind everyone who is reading this that money is power, and as Lord Arton puts it, “power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts completely.” Money brings power, and power brings corruption. If you don’t understand this, you might think money is a negative thing. Consider it for a few moments.

1. Encourage the propagation of evil as little as possible.

Check to see if you’re spending money on things like pool parties, buying alcoholic beverages for friends, or providing lodging for friends and their girlfriends. Such behavior is despised by God, and if you do not change your ways, he will not only make you destitute but also your descendants. Why are you exposing yourself to the Lord’s wrath?

We are stewards on this earth, and whatever God gives us must be used for His purposes. Under no circumstances should you abuse the gifts that God has bestowed upon you. You should not marry two women only because you are wealthy.

2. Poor people should not be oppressed.

Oppression is despised by God, and those who abuse the poor will always face his wrath. It is never a good idea to take advantage of a lady just because you are assisting her. You should not force your children to work simply because you feed them. I’d want to emphasize that God abhors oppression.

3. Don’t risk it by putting your money on the table.

When you didn’t have a place to sleep, eat, or wear, you prayed and waited for God to provide. You’ve been blessed, and praying is no longer feasible for you. You go out to a club on Saturday night and then miss church the next day because you’re too hungover. Money either serves you or serves money. According to the Bible, “no one can serve two masters… you cannot serve God and money.” Rather than our money, we ought to place our faith in God. Any possession a believer has is a gift from God, and He has the authority to take it away at any time.

The question posed by the apostle Paul to the Corinthian believers should serve as a constant reminder that God is our provider. If we begin to believe that we now have everything we need, that we have enough money to not need God, or that our love for him has waned, we are serving money.

I believe God will reward you financially, but you should never do the three things listed above. May God bless you and make this a joyous occasion for you. Amen.
