They should have killed the tie in the first leg but gave Madrid the chance to come back.
At the Bernabeu this evening, Real Madrid proved that they are the undisputed kings of Europe. Mahrez opened the scoring for City to give them a 2 goal advantage in the clash. In extra time, Rodrygo had other ideas. They won’t go out without a fight. He scored a quickfire double in 2 minutes to send the game to extra time. King Karim Benzema popped up with the icing on the cake, scoring the decisive winner via the penalty spot. That goal took the roof off the Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid is on the way to making history again. Manchester City has themselves to blame. They will now be rueing their missed chances in the first leg.
