Ghanaian actress and philanthropist, Fella Precious Makafui has raised a concern about the E-Levy which has taken effect.
The E-Levy which took Parliament so long to get it passed took effect on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
However, some Ghanaians still find it difficult to accept the E-Levy.
In an earlier tweet made by Fella Makafui, she said she made a transaction of Ghc10,000 and was charged Ghc150.
“This E-Levy thing …waaaww !! SMH !! They charged me 150cedis for 10k transaction!! What !!!,” she stated.
Again on E-Levy Mrs. Precious Frimpong asked, “how do small business owners survive with this?”
According to her, the charges could literally be the profit.
Speechless Fella Makafui also talked about the Ghc150 charged on her Ghc10.000 transaction.
