The “E” in E-levy Is Not For Fun; Dr. Bawumia Receives 200 Million Dollars From UN and World Bank.

As many are already complaining about what is to come on Sunday because of e-levy, leaders of the current sitting government still strive to make Ghana a better place for its citizens through electronic and digitization means.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia set a record during Ghana vs Nigeria match which gained the highest revenue for the country ever in a football match. He did so by digital means.

The light on him is too great that he presented a talk on an online platform with international well-abled people and got himself soaring again.

Dr. Bawumia was with the Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blaire, and the Tony Blaire Institute for Global Change and Oracle Technologies.

Dr. Bawumia proved that Ghana is ready for an industrial change and set for the 4th global revolution.

He made strong grounds that the government is ready to move into the next phase of digitalization, use data analysis and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide life-impacting solutions for Ghanaians by reducing costs of travel, process times, manual errors, and other significant importance.

Dr. Bawumia addressed this to the United Nations, the World Bank, Carmen Reinhart (Vice President of and Chief Economist for World Bank), Marie Pangestu (World Bank Managing Director), Amina J. Mohammed (UN Deputy General Secretary), and IMF Managing Director for Digital Economic Partnerships.

Bawumia also made it known that from the farm to the offices and factory floors, the government is digitizing data, storing them, and using it for economic improvements.

And on this presentation, he was granted 200 million dollars.

Bawumia indeed is the change Ghana needs!

Indeed, the ‘e’ in e-levy has a bigger impact to Ghanaians positively than we think.
