Let’s Call It E-Tithe, Donate 10% Of Tithes To GRA – KSM To Christian Council

Satirist Kwaku Sintim Misa (KSM) has urged the Christian Council of Ghana to order churches to give 10% of their tithe to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) as E-TITHE.

He claims that because the Christian Council supports the e-levy, it is critical that people demonstrate their commitment by donating a portion of their tithe to help fund the course.

He expressed his views in a tweet in response to the President of the Christian Council’s appeal on Ghanaians to embrace the levy.

He said “Dear CHRISTIAN COUNCIL, kindly donate 10% of all the Tithe Churches collect to the GRA. Let’s call it E-TITHE. Support the E- LEVY for GH to become “like Europe “. (Practice what you Preach a beg)”.

See how Ghanaians reacted to his assertion;

Prince Nyarko commented; Do people still pay that “thievery” called tithe? Why not invest it for themselves, instead of giving it to someone else who brand’s himself “man of God”? And when they need assistance, they tell them church money is not meant to help members. Aaarh well, e no be my monies.
