Renowned journalist and host of the most listened to morning show in Ghana “Kokrooko” Kwame Sefa Kayi is of the view that for Ghana to make progress as a country, we need a benevolent dictator to take charge of affairs of this country. That is the only way to discipline citizens and put them on their toes to do the right thing always. He believes that the kind of democracy we are practicing is not productive.
Sylvester Tetteh, MP for Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro, and Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, Governance Lecturer at the Central University, on the Thursday episode of the program raised some genuine concerns. They questioned why the MCE of the area had disregarded illegally built structures and the challenges in dismantling them. They also realised that anytime someone stands up to fight some of these things, it then turns into a political power play.
