For a student, passing your exams and furthering your education is one major goal. Pupils get excited when going to senior high secondary school, it’s basically a step further in their education which they’re very proud of. Although it is a great accomplishment, things don’t always turn out as expected.
In first year, students just try to stay out of trouble and basically just have to go through a lot of set backs. One of the most annoying thing about being in first year is being bullied. Bullies are roaming in the senior high, it is inevitable that a first year is going to encounter one. The things these bullies will put you through will sometimes make you wish you hadn’t come to secondary school. It is frustrating to have someone take your money, goods and your stuff, I mean what makes you think you have the right to do that?
Disobeying a seniors order is likely to lead you into more punishment’s, that is why one will just have to tolerate them. Another challenge is that, first year’s are assigned to carry out all tasks if possible. Of course when one enters a new environment, a good behaviour is assured. People see this and take advantage of that, loading these first year’s with any task which needs to be completed. Some of which are not necessarily needed. One excuse the seniors will always give is that, their past seniors did way extra with them and that they’re even being lenient.
Being in first year can definitely be difficult to handle, all the pressure, the errands and the many jobs. Not to forget, learning and keeping up ones good grade too. All these challenges are likely to occur to every first year, though coping, getting through it and enduring will surely pay off.
