NDC Has Only 3 ‘Strong’ Leaders In The Party – Blind Historian Boldly Reveals

The race to who leads the 2 biggest political parties in Ghana into the 2024 elections is about getting interesting. It’s about two and a half years to the next elections and already pollsters and research institutions are churning out polling survey results. For the opposition NDC it will be an easy pick as many see John Mahama as leading the party.

For the ruling NPP it will be a close contest between Vice President Bawumia and Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen. Reacting to the next elections, Afari Duodo, popularly called Blind Historian in an interview with Kofi Adoma has predicted doom for the ruling government. Interestingly, he touched on the NDC primaries and cautioned the party to tread smartly. According to him many are talking about the squabbles in the NPP district elections not knowing that the NDC has bigger problems.

He called on the NDC to start solving their grassroots issues and not cover things up. He noted that the NDC has become a 3 party leadership and called for an all-inclusive government. He pointed at loopholes and dictatorial tendencies in the party. He mentioned that the party is now in the hands of Mahama or Asiedu Nketia or Sammy Gyamfi. Duodo said everything in the NDC is about these 3 individuals, a situation that is not good for the party. He called for consensus and peace in the peace.
