Kwadwo Duah declines to play for the Black Stars in the 2022 World Cup. (watch)

Kwadwo Duah has expressed his disinterest in representing the Black Stars at the World Cup later this year.

Despite the player turning down prior call-ups, the Ghana Football Association and technical team have not given up their chase of St. Gallen striker Kwadwo Duah to play for the Black Stars.

Kwadwo Duah, a striker for St. Gallen, with 12 goals and two assists in 27 appearances this season.

After loan spells at Winterthur and Servette, the 25-year-old Ghanaian-born Swiss joined St. Gallen from Young Boys.

In 68 games for St. Gallen, he has a total of 25 goals.

BSC Young Boys’ Duah is a youth product. On July 30, 2016, he made his Swiss Super League debut against FC Lugano, replacing Yoric Ravet after 78 minutes.

Duah was born in London, England, but moved to Switzerland when he was very young.

He is of Ghanaian ancestry and is a dual citizen of Ghana and Switzerland.
