Just In:Samuel Okudzeto lectures fellow politicians – the youth will lynch us if we do not help them

On this Morning Onua TV show, Captain Smart has compared the development in Tarkwa as compared to that of Johannesburg. He mentioned that the Chiefs of these communities have not been able to push politicians for the required level of growth and development for their communities. According to Captain Smart, there is lack of development in Ghanaian mining communities and he focused on Tarkwa. He advised that until he sees the development in these mining areas, he would not stop his campaign to see the needed growth.

Captain however called Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa on phone to contribute to discussions.

During the phone conversation, North Tongu Member of Parliament recalled a strong speech he made at a recent TEIN conference. He said he spoke about the fact that if politicians do not help to develop the country, the youth would one day lynch them. The young MP said that politicians are taking citizens for granted and wishes to recapitulate that same advice. He added that Politicians lack truthfulness, sincerity and honesty. He explained that if politicians do not meet the genuine concerns of the youth, it can create anger of the youth leading to fellow politicians becoming endangered species. He commended Former President Kuffour for becoming open to people of Ghana.

He encouraged fellow politicians to fulfill their campaign promises instead of rather doing the exact opposite. He mentioned that politicians should create jobs that they have promised and also build the infrastructure that they have promised the people of Ghana.

He cautioned his fellow politicians that Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah died on 27th April, 1972 and his fellow politicians must help live up to the expectations and execute developmental aims left by the founding fathers of the country.

Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa further explained that politicians or successive governments should rather aim at doing better than past governments instead of merely comparing projects.
