An elderly man believed to be a chief linguist of a particular Ghanaian community has been recorded on camera praying against the four main witches he believes are the ones destroying Ghana. Watching the video carefully, you can see that this chief linguist was holding an alcoholic drink in his hand. He has also lowered his cloth to his shoulders as a sign of respect to the gods and he was seriously praying for Ghana.
According to this man, the four main witches destroying include the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Christians, and Muslims. This is the kind of prayer he said for Ghana as he pours his libation “Nananom, there are four witches that have destroyed Ghana. Let us be wise as people and reverse these curses. If it is not NPP then is NDC, if it is not Christians then is Muslims.
These four witches have destroyed the country for a long time but it is about time you do something about it to reverse the curses”. This chief linguist was in the of some men who were assisting him to pray for Ghana. Some Ghanaians after coming across this video said that this chief linguist does not want peace. How can he accuse these major groups in Ghana of the downfall of the country?
Some social media users also said that there must be something wrong with him. According to them, no man in his common sense will pray this kind of prayer. Others were just laughing saying that he sounds like a comedian. Some people said that they can agree with him to some extent because these groups he mentioned have played a role in the poor Ghana we see today.
