The former Minister of Education who is called by the name Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, has revealed another hidden truth behind the cancellation of the teacher trainee allowance, during the time that John Dramani Mahama was the president of Ghana.
Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang on addressing the members of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network student wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Wesley College in Kumasi disclosed that, the National Democratic Congress ( NDC) did not actually cancel the teacher trainee allowance, but they rather made it in the form of loan. Where students are given the opportunity and are allowed to get access to huge amount of money in order to be able to settle all their various debts in schools.
This has attracted a lot of comments from the people of Ghana. Kweku Asiedu wrote that, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang was really the cause of National Democratic Congress (NDC) downfall. Comabt Real Fizzy was also thanking Professor Jane Naana for letting Ghanaians know the opposite of what the NDC leaders did. And others said that, she didn’t sleep well, so she should go and continue from where she stopped.
