Many do not know the private details about the showstopper Gospel musician Empress Gifty but she gave Ghanaians a glimpse of her lifestyle through UTV show ATUU.
The Host, Abeiku Santana was so excited to interview the beautiful musician. Empress Gifty said that she is successful because of the covenant she has with God and has friends who are like ‘Jonathan’ to help her with advice and support. She mentioned that she would not like to talk about her ex-husband. She explained further that , she would not speak against any one that has ever helped her .
Empress Gifty also explained that she only had a Junior high school education but due to private teachers , she can now speak English fluently. Empress Gifty also recounted how Ghanaians complained about her in the past but have grown to love her for who she is . She said , with time people came to love her .
When asked how she learnt the Bible and how she excels in her ministry , she “lectured” Abeiku Santana on a lot of issues. She mentioned that her mum is a trained pastor even though she is also an actress . She further explained that ,the Bible has a lot of information that many people do not know . She said ,everything around us is in the Bible sex . She introduced to Abeiku Santana her fashion sponsor, “Dede ” and said that her church does not pay her for what she does hence the reason why she spoke less of her church .
She acknowledged that her success in the music industry is due to the hand of God upon her life and thanked all her fans. She mentioned that she would not discuss parts of her body on the show because her body belongs to her husband. She explained that she married her husband, Mr. Hopeson Adorye at the right time despite her weakness of quick-temperedness. She revealed that her husband can not take her phone and she would also not go for his phone due to certain privacy rules in their marriage.
Empress Gifty also explained that she takes in supplement to take good care of herself .
