Road accidents in Ghana seem to be on the rise. The number of road accidents recorded each year seem to be on an increasing rate.
One woman who lives in a town called Kwesitsenten in the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency is calling on government for help. Her reason for such call is the recent increase of accident cases in her area.
Speaking to Oman FM reporter recently, the woman revealed that for the past few days, she and her husband could not sleep at night. She added that every night at 9pm to 1am, they could hear persons drumming and shouting at the main road. According to the woman, she lives closer to the main road.
According to her, the husband and herself will go outside to find out those who make such noise but they won’t find anyone there.
The woman added that there have been series of road crashes on the main road Kwesitsenten that has resulted in the loss of life of many. She added that the ghosts of the deceased in these accidents always haunt them at night. She is therefore calling on government to come to their aid. She added that most school children use that road and sometimes, vehicles will just knock them off.
