There are two separate road crashes on the Accra bound Kwame Nkrumah Motorway between Adjiekojo and Abattoir. The crush involve a salon car and an articulator truck and also a single roll over rigid truck partially obstructing free flow of traffic.
Meanwhile, the Tema and Airport MTTD are at the scene controlling the traffic. The road safety management service limited crew are also on standby to assist in the recovery and towing of the vehicle. The Ghana Police Service has issued a caution that “Accra bound motorists approaching the crash scenes are entreated to drive with prudent speed and comply with police hand signals and directions”.
