The finance minister of Ghana Ken Ofori Atta has been challenged by Felix Ofosu Kwakye who was a former deputy information minister under John Dramani Mahama administration over the current corruption going on at the Finance Ministry.
Felix Ofosu Kwakye speaking on Metro TV this morning tells the host Randy Abbey that there is no doubt Ken Ofori Atta is the beneficiary of loans borrowed by the government of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo.
He explains Ken as a Finance Minister has a huge responsibility to perform. Concerning all the transactions made by the country. government is going for any loan it has to be assessed by the finance minister if the loan will help the country or not. Again, after getting the loan is it used for the purpose it was obtained. Which means will be used to receive the loan? government incurred losses he has to be blamed but upon all the embezzlement of funds under Nana Addo’s government the Finance Minister has not been able to come out and point out where the money has gone to.
According to Felix Kwakye, the Finance Minister is benefitting from all the loans obtained by the President and even uses his “Capital Bank” as the medium where the money will be received. Why he is still not removed after failing to president valid budget and all the corruption under his ministry, the President knows why he is there and he is still there for their interest and not the country.
