David Obeng Nyarko subtly hits hard at the Review Panel of the GFA

The dubious penalty taken against Accra Hearts of Oak on matchday 24 when Kotoko defeated the Phobians by a goal to nil at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium had the needed verdict when Hearts of Oak reported Referee Kenny Padi who officiated the match.

When the verdict came out, lovers of the game zoomed straight into anger and started lambasting the Football Association and the Disciplinary Committee for the early verdict while Kotoko’s complaint since January has not been dealt with.

This is not only in the circles of the supporters but prominent people in the management team of Kotoko has added his voice to the denied justice.

The Communication Officer of the club has this to say;

“FACTS ! The match review panel is yet to sit on a complaint filed against Ref. Akubiam on Matchday 13 between Berekum Chelsea and Kotoko.

“The complaint filed on 17/Jan/2022 and nothing has been heard.

“The same MRP sat on a complaint of a match played last week & verdict is out.” – David Obeng Nyarko
