A Man Has Been Arrested For Pretending To Be A GES Employee And Defrauding Parents

A man has been arrested by the Adabraka Police after he was caught defrauding people for their money. A resolution centre has been set up in Accra to help parents who have issues after the schools for the JHS graduates were released. This was to serve people who had issues with the schools their wards had been given.

The arrested culprit for the past three weeks since the centre was opened has been going there in the name of being an employee and serving parents who went there. But for him, he charged the parents GH₵ 200 and fill out some documents for them, although the services rendered at the centre were free.

The employees at the centre do go to work at 8 am but this man arrives at about 4 am to take monies from those parents and guardians who go to the centre to queue at dawn. He was caught this morning after he was found taking monies from some parents and later realized that he was not an employee. When he was caught, he refused to talk and said he would only speak when his lawyer arrives.
