Ghanaian actress and television presenter, Xandy Kamel has opened up about the collapse of her marriage with sports journalists.
The break-up of the marriage of Xandy Kamel and Kaninja was one of the messiest and most dramatic breakups the industry has experienced. The marriage of the actress lasted for a year.

In an interview with Kwaku Manu, Xandy Kamel for the first time spoke about some of the issues she had before her marriage crashed. Xandy Kamel disclosed that she lost four pregnancies during her one year of marriage to Kaninja.
According to her, her ex-husband Kaninja abused her several times which made her lose four pregnancies in a year’s marriage. According to her, she caught her former husband Kaninja cheating and confronted him which turned into an argument.
She stated that during the argument, Kaninja pushed her to the wall where she hit her back and waist on the wall causing her to bleed. She further stated that being abused can be physically and emotionally. She advised women to flee from abusive partners.
