This life is full of surprises and unforseen circumstances. No one knows what will happen the next hour. There is this sad news that has happened to the people of Ghana. According to the information reaching us, two accidents have occurred at Kwahu. One person died, and 13Â injured following the two separate road accidents at Kwahu.
In the first accident, a 10-year-old boy, who is called Emmanuel Atta Serebour, died on the spot on Sunday morning. He died when a car rammed into a group of six people after veering off the road at Christian Quarters in Abetifi in the Eastern Region. Emmanuel Atta Serebour’s twin brother, another brother, cousin and two others sustained injuries and were treated at the Abetifi Health Center. In the second accident, at least eight individuals sustained injuries in a road crash at the Atibie section of the Kwahu mountains on the same day, 17th April, 2022.
According to the information gathered, the driver of the mini bus with the number plate GE 6462- 22, which was heading towards Nkawkaw with 20 passengers on board lost control while descending the mountain and crashed at the edge of the road. Below are the pictures from the accident scene.
This is sad but all that we can do for now is to wish those who got injured a speedy recovery. And also send our condolences to the family of the 10 years old boy. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
