Ghana Premier League, GPL leaders Asante Kotoko has arrived in Tamale for their league encounter with Real Tamale United, RTU on Sunday.
The Porcupines were in high spirits as they arrived in northern Ghana, seeking to preserve their eight points lead at the top of the stairs.
Asante Kotoko will play as guests to RTU at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale in a GPL Matchday 25 encounter with the points crucial to both sides.
RTU are hovering around the relegation zone and, defeat for them could draw them into the bottom three.
However, Asante Kotoko has sounded their readiness for this encounter as they chase another win on the road.
Coach Prosper Ogum has announced a strong squad for this fixture and, with the confidence in their camp at an all time high, it will take a yeoman’s job for RTU to down them even on home soil.
But, RTU has served notice of making things extremely difficult for the Porcupines on Sunday and as they return to their favourite Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium after their recent home ban, they will put up a performance to back it.
This fixture promises to be a keenly contested affair with Asante Kotoko hopeful of avoiding defeat in their quest for the diadem this season.
