Riky Rick, and Cassper Nyovest were once the closest people. Their relationship had moved from friendship level, to brotherhood. The was a point when the two of them were inseparable, as they were forever together, and supporting each other. They two of them, however went their separate ways quietly. Most things were revealed when Cassper Nyovest dropped his album in 2020. In the album, there was a song that spoke about Riky Rick, who then decided to take to Twitter to address the issue, and how things fell apart. In a series of tweets, Riky revealed what had transpired.
Riky had said that he wishes Cassper could have just called him if he ever thought there was any issue to address. He also said he felt as though Cassper should have not used a song to get his message across. The two were never seen together, even after the album.
On a recent interview done by Cassper Nyovest, he could be heard saying he and Riky were like brothers. He could also be heard saying he doesn’t want to talk to Riky, and that maybe they will someday they will again talk as fathers.
Unfortunately, Riky’s passing came before they could fix their issues. Cassper has been broken since Riky’s passing, and has also expressed it. He also attended Riky’s funeral and on the pictures posted by Lasizwe. Followers could his pain from the distance. They have said he really looks hurt, and in pain. Some have said they just want to give Cassper a hug, because of how he looks. May he find healing, and not blame himself for things he cannot change.
