As per norm, in many times when new malls and shops get opened, people rushed to buy things since they believe that there will be some specials but this was not the case in Alexandra Pan Africa Mall.
Instead of fighting for shopping baskets and looking for special offers from different shops when Alexandra’s Pan Africa Mall opened on Thursday 24 February 2022, thousands of people were bringing their CVs into the shops.
The South African unemployment rate was laid bare. The video left many people in tears, realizing that there are millions of people who went to schools but not working.
Unemployment in this country is at epidemical proportions. Young people are left exposed and many have lost faith, with some embarked on criminal activities.
Only few people were coming to buy but there majority were of people submitting their CVs, hoping that they will get a call.
