Background
Although the country has been under level one of the coronavirus lockdown for many months some are still waiting for the end of the lockdown. It is true that a level one of the locked and brings with it a lot of freedoms but there are some things that the people of the country cannot do while there is a lockdown.
Many have called for the lockdown to come to an end and it seems that the government is close to ending it. Now after what the health minister said a few days ago people are wondering if the next address will have an announcement of the end to the lockdown.

The last time the president of South Africa address the nation he was moving it to level one of the lockdown. It has been many months since South Africa had its family meeting and many are wondering if this one that will happen next will be of significance.
The health minister has said that the government is finalising the last few necessities before it ends the lockdown. This might mean the next announcement from ramaphosa could be the end of the lockdown. There has not been information as to when a national address would happen but the word “soon” keeps on coming out of politicians mouth time and time again.

Many South Africans are now excited that soon enough they will go back to living their lives as normal again. Some have forgotten what it’s like to live in a country without restrictions as it has been 2 years of lockdown. We now wait for the announcement of the family meeting to see what the president has in store for the country.
