Racism allegations noted at Grosvenor Girls High – Racism remains a concern in some of the schools in South Africa . A sad report was issued regarding another school that s alleged to have had issues of racism .It was reported that the learning at Grosvenor Girls’ High got disrupted when coloured , black and Indian learners made a decision to boycott classes . It was alleged that they were protesting against abusive language and rules regarding hairstyle at the school . This is not the first time to have racial tensions in schools . This is because recently , there was a school on Gauteng that was rocked with racial tensions .

The learners at Grosvenor school reportedly embarked on demonstrations whereby they were calling for the dismissal of the principal. It was alleged in the report that the principal and some teachers call the learners by names .As for their hair , it was alleged that they have troubles as well as they are allegedly not allowed to keep their hair .
