It is not a secret that the South African people have a very complicated relationship with the South African Police Services (SAPS), the SAPS are regularly accused of not being competent at their job, and they are even being accused of allegedly being corrupt and working with criminals in the country.
However, yesterday (Friday 25 February), the SAPS were praised by many South Africans on social media site Twitter after they arrested two dangerous criminals in Hillbrow Johannesburg, it is reported that two suspects that were wanted in connection to several truck hijackings & armed robberies were arrested, and they were caught with 2 unlicensed guns and other illegal items.
The arrests of these two criminals pleased a lot of people, as some people took to Twitter to show their appreciation for the SAPS’ great work…
“These days you guys are working. Keep it up. I wonder why you were sleeping all along.”
“Great work officers”
“Well done once again. Taking our city back block by block.”
