Calls have been made by organisations in Eersterust for the department of basic education to ensure that incidences of bullying in schools are dealt with .The organisation reportedly stated that it was devastated with the fact that the pace at which action on bullying was conducted . The organisation went on and added that there were many incidences of bullying that were being reported in high schools and primary schools .
The founder of NPO Voice It In Action , Kgothatso Moloto expressed disappointment in a certain case that had not been solved regarding a fight that included females learners from Eersterust Secondary School in 2021 . The went on and alleged that nothing had been done to solve the issues that were being faced in schools regarding bullying .Although various meetings have reportedly been held between the organisation and the various education stakeholders , there are no tangible solutions that have been initiated to solve bullying .
