MaShelembe became a national sweetheart overnight back in September when an episode of Mnakwethu aired featuring herself and her bully of a husband, Bhekisisa and his “pillar” MaSithole. We all watched in real time as this incident occured.
However Bheki has decided that the blame for Makhosi’s absence is NOT him.
After dust settled following their episode, Makhosi had the sympathy of the nation. She captured our hearts and the Ladies House couldn’t help but to be there for her and change her life forever. They planned an opulent baby shower for her and a job so she can be free from her failure of a husband. A compassionate act of kindness, right? Wrong.
According to Bhekisisa Langa, that was the reason his marriage fell apart. I wish I could be surprised at how tone deaf this man is but he part of the Mnakwethu crew and expecting good sense from those men is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It’s very nearly impossible. How does a deliberate act whereby you alienate your wife, become someone else’s fault?
Social Media Response
Viewers were fed up with Bheki and his ability to dodge responsibility with a straight face, one user wrote, “He doesn’t even mention himself when he counts the people who caused the break up? This one is pillar’d straight 🙄 #MnakwethuHappilyEverAfter #MnakwethuHEA #Mnakwethu”
While another user wrote, “Did he say he blames Ladies House for his marriage’s demise? #MnakwethuHappilyEverAfter #mnakwethuhea“
Personal Thoughts
I love that the Ladies House exists. Women protecting women will always be the I want to consume. It’s my superpower, my strength and I enjoy that immensely. Bheki Langa needs to accept defeat. It feels like he’s still in limbo whereas Makhosi has moved on with her life forever. The part of him that thought he could take advantage of her financial situation must accept this and move on
