The latest Covid-19 statistics that were shared by the Zimbabwean Ministry of Health and Child Care revealed that the country recorded 2 deaths as a result of Covid-19 related complications . The total number of people who have died from Covid-19 related complications since 2020 now stand at 5388 . It is sad that thousands of people have lost their lives as a result of Coronavirus in Zimbabwe .
The good news is that the deaths related to the pandemic keep on decreasing . The numbers may keep decreasing , but the pandemic has already caused some damage to the people . This has seen Harare having lost a high number of people from the pandemic compared to other provinces . There are 1 766 people who have died in Harare to date from Covid-19 related complications , while Bulawayo has lost 849 people . Matabeleland North has lost the least number of people since the virus was detected in Zimbabwe , with only 124 deaths to date .
