Hani was murdered on the 10th by Januzs Walus, an anti-Communist Polish immigrant with intimate ties to the white supremacist AWB. He was accompanied by his daughter, Nomakhwezi, who was 15 at the time. It was during this time that his wife, Limpho, and two additional daughters, Neo (who was then 20 years old) and Lindiwe (who was then 12 years old), were not present.
Following the assassination, Walus and Derby-Lewis were apprehended, sentenced, and imprisoned for an extraordinarily short length of time (just six months). Both were found guilty and sentenced to death. In a strange twist, the new government (and constitution) that they had aggressively opposed resulted in their sentences being reduced to life imprisonment-the death penalty having been pronounced “unconstitutional” at the time.
Following all that, Walus has been trying to get a reduced sentence or bail for some time, but there has been no luck. Yesterday he was appearing at court for a bail hearing. After serving his life term without the possibility of parole since October 1993, Walu’s last application for freedom from prison was heard by the Constitutional Court on Tuesday. Throughout the hearing, his lawyer apologized to the court, Hani’s family, and South Africa as a whole on his behalf.
After the bail hearing, Chris Hani’s wife, Limpopo Hani, was interviewed about her take on the bail application for this killer, and her response revealed things that shook many people. She revealed that the person who killed her husband is the same person who killed OR Tambo. She went on to reveal that she will never forgive Walus because he has never apologized to her, and he has only apologized to the media. Many people were shocked because we all thought he has apologise to the family before he came to apologise to the public. Watch her video below.

Many people were shocked after this was posted on social media. She said she would never forgive her. Many people are not in favor of this guy getting parole. They are calling for him not to be released because he killed a politician whom South Africans used to look up to.
Opinion:
Januzs Walus must stay in prison for as long as he can, not because he doesn’t deserve parole, but because it is the only place where his life is safe. If he gets out, he won’t last here because people are still holding a grudge against him. If he gets out, they’ll kill him. And yes, he owes Mrs. Hani an apology.
