The actual New Dawn and Minister Lindiwe Sisulu?
When President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa took office, replacing former President of the Republic of South Africa and African National Congress Jacob Zuma, who had resigned, he declared that it was a new dawn and that he wanted to turn things around.
Many South Africans believed in him and put their faith in him, and they backed the new dawn. Now that it has been four years, the new dawn has brought no changes to the Republic of South Africa.
Lindiwe Sisulu, the Minister of Tourism, has declared her intention to run for President.
“Lindiwe” signifies “the one we’ve been waiting for,” according to poet Siki Dlanga. But the issue remains: Is her new Dawn a genuine new dawn in history, or is history about to repeat itself?
“She is also known as Nonceba. Mercy is what Nonceba signifies. What she offers isn’t groundbreaking; it’s exactly what many people have been waiting for. If you reject her proposal’s mercy for this country, James Baldwin’s words “the fire next time” will be too late for you to comprehend. Our legislature, in the end, mimics all of the systematic origins of the oppression of our people “Siki Dlanga agrees.
