In 2021, when Covid-19 started spreading so fast, it caught countries off guard and unprepared. It quickly swept some people away while governments of the world were still preparing themselves.
This is because it was a new type of disease and countries didn’t have experience on how to handle it but as times goes on, it becomes better and now there are covid-19 vaccines which is making it better.
For sometimes now, the government of the republic of South Africa was seen to be able to control covid-19 daily infection which was seen going down to be less than 1000 per day.
Now people have relaxed too much and many covid-19 restrictions have been lifted, Covid-19 daily infection rate seems rapidly increasing and it might caught the country unexpected, since now they seems nolonger paying attention to covid-19.
Some have already suspected 5th wave might be coming now. This is after they assess to daily infection rate and how it is increasing now. Since Covid-19 is increasing, and people are nolonger paying attention on covid-19, it is high time government takes this matter serious.
