Tragedy as a concrete slab led to the death of an employee . Tragedy struck when a man believed to be in his late forties lost his life when a concrete slab tragically fell on him when he and his colleagues were busy at work .
In accordance with the report , the man and his fellow employees were building a swimming pool in North Durban when the tragedy took place .The paramedics reportedly arrived at the scene after 1 pm .
Garrith Jamieson who is the spokesperson for the ALS Paramedics Medical Services confirmed that that arrived on the scene with the members of the South African Police Services after 13:00 . Although the paramedics were taken to the injured man , there was nothing that could be done to help spare the life of the man as he was declared dead at the scene . May his soul rest in eternal peace .
