Ever since Jacob Zuma was released from prison, he has been laying low in politics. Many people have even asked if he’s no longer into politics because these days he only spends his days meeting with his former comrades, but he says no word about politics.
It was just a few days ago that Dudu Zuma Sambudla uploaded images of her father on social media, which caused quite a stir. Duduzile Zuma is the daughter of former South African President Jacob Zuma, and she is one of the former president’s most vocal supporters. When he was jailed in July of last year, she was among those who were prepared to take to the streets in order to fight for her father’s release. She is well-known throughout the country as a woman who does not put up with foolishness and who will go to any length to ensure that her family is well taken care of.
Following all that, Zuma’s spokesperson posted another photo that is currently causing a huge stir on social media: a photo of former president Jacob Zuma and delegates of the Eswatini kingdom. It was not revealed what they wanted at Nkandla, but the photo was captioned, “Nkandla is the centre of gravity where hope lives.” See the photo below:
At first, people were not aware of who these guys in traditional wear were until they spotted that they were wearing Eswatini kingdom attire. That’s where people started getting mad and hurling nasty comments at the photo. Many people hate Eswatini because they believe that the system of government used is abusive, and more hate was fueled by the number of people killed during the strikes. Some even went on to say that if Nkandla welcomes killers, then they will also turn against Nkandla.
Opinion:
Jacob Zuma is just a friendly man who welcomes everyone at his home regardless of their backgrounds and what they do. That is why he once welcomed Julius Malema, although he is from an opposition party. People should stop hating on Nkandla because of the visitors.
