There is a lot that the former Home Affairs Minister is famously got. For one, everyone knows about the inappropriate video that went viral, then there are allegations of his link to the Guptas.
His marriage to Norma Mngoma has been made public’s knowledge after she went to the State Capture Inquiry to reveal what was happening in their marriage and how the Guptas financed their lifestyle.
Regardless of all that, Gigaba maintained his innocence, claiming that his estranged wife hired people to kill him, that she disrespected his father, and that the state was using her as an asset in a conspiracy against him.
The masses decided not to choose sides and concluded that their marriage was toxic, that if Mngoma knew that Gigaba was financing their lifestyle, she should have reported it immediately, but decided not to until their marriage was over.
Report
Gigaba’s supporters have been wondering how he has been ever since he came to the spotlight, whether or not he is worried that Zondo will send the NPA to investigate him if he even has the money to finance his lavish lifestyle.
In a video Gigaba has shared on Twitter, he jokes that he is at a Men’s Conference and warns all men not to buy their women any Valentine gifts on February 14th, that should they be caught with any gifts, they will be disarmed.

In the video, Gigaba is wearing an ANC T-shirt and a black skinny Jean and formal shoes at an unknown township. It is not clear who he is with, or what he is doing there. However, he seems relaxed, still wearing his wedding band.
Public’s Opinion
Gigaba’s followers are happy to see him in good spirits, with some still believing that he has leadership skills and should go back to politics. On the other hand, some are mocking him, citing that the mighty have fallen and warning him not to be in a relationship with bad girls.
Gigaba still has to prove his innocence before he can be an ANC leader again. The ANC is his home, which means he will never form his own political party.
Regarding the Valentine gifts, not everyone is in a toxic relationship or marriage and should feel free to make their partners feel special on the day. Besides, Valentine’s Day is not only about sharing gifts between lovers. People can spread the love and buy gifts for everyone that they hold dear, even friends and family.
