An innocent uber driver was attacked by members of a taxi association in Tembisa (Gauteng Province) after they allegedly caught him picking up a pedestrian, the man ran away and abandoned his vehicle.
The Channel N-TV news page uploaded a video footage of an alleged uber driver running away after being brutally assaulted by members of a taxi association in Tembisa, after the uber driver ran away and abandoned his vehicle the men started to smash the windows of his vehicle using sticks.
It’s alleged that the reason behind the incident was that the uber driver was caught by members of the taxi association picking up a pedestrian, they told him that he is not allowed to pick up pedestrians in that area this lead to a back and forth argument between the uber driver and the taxi drivers which escalated to a physical altercation.
It’s alleged that the incident occurred earlier today 15 February 2022.
