The Education MEC in Gauteng Mr Panyaza Lesufi paid a visit to Jan Viljoen High School on Monday after some violent clashes that took place on Friday last week. He went there with the aim of getting to the bottom of why the violent clashes took place and to resolve the ongoing tensions . One of the outcomes that came out of the visit was that there should be action that is taken by the School Governing Body against all the perpetrators involved .
The MEC was aimed at getting a report from the school regarding the violence that took place on Friday .Moving on , the Principal of the school requested anybody with information that may assist with the investigations too step forward .The information and evidence collected will be forwarded to police , South African Human Rights Commission and the School Governing Body for further investigations .The law enforcement agencies are scheduled to continue with the investigations .
