Malema Lands In Top Job, But Critics Call It A Big Joke

Social critics are up in arms against the appointment of the Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema to the Joint Committee on Ethics and Members Interests in Parliament.

This means that the red beret leader will now form part of developing standards of ethical behaviour for Members of Parliament and administer the code of conduct.

Malema is sworn in to this prestigious task weeks after his critics expressed disapproval of his conduct during the Judicial Services Commission interviews where they accused him of using intimidating tactics to question judges uncomfortable questions.

Those who were not happy with Malema’s conduct, called for him to be removed as a commissioner of the Judicial Services Commission.

As if that was not enough, his critics are now left breathing through the wound after the red beret leader is sworn in to another Committee which will oversee the behaviour of Members of Parliament.

But Julius Malema himself is an individual who always cause ruckus in parliament along with his EFF comrades, and this is why critics feel his appointment to the Ethics committee which monitors the behaviour of Parliamentarians is a big joke.

“Malema is the most unethical person in parliament.. so how are things done here? He failed to behave during the interviews of the JSC and now he is compensated with another position that requires morals and ethics. They want him to keep shouting again…no no no another big no,” one social critic vehemently opposed Malema’s appointment.

Some went further stating that “ethical behaviour” and Julius Malema doesn’t dwell in same place for a long time. The red beret leader has a way of doing things or putting his points across which is always questionable.

During the Judicial Services Commission interviews, Malema had to be told to lower his voice, but he hits back in retaliation saying that’s how he speaks and cannot be told to lower his tone.
